About Me

Hi, I’m Skyler. 

I may look like a glamorous black cat, but I’m secretly a softy. Not even secretly. 

I love chivalry, gorgeous hotels, fresh flowers, people who make me laugh, and finding meaning in the ordinary. I’m a bit of a hopeless romantic. I could spend hours wandering through an antique store, admiring architecture or getting lost in a great psychological thriller or mystery film, but could spend just as long over a glass of champagne or dancing the night away. I collect beautiful places and memorable people.

I’ve always been drawn to understanding people. You’ll probably hear me ask, “Hmm… I wonder why?” more than once. I’m endlessly fascinated by psychology, sociology, history and philosophy. The more I learn, the more I realise there’s always another question to ask.

My favourite moments are the longer ones, where conversation flows and everything else fades into the background. The ones where you're laughing the night away and losing track of time.
